BITROS THYSSEN Special Steels S.A. was established in late 2001.

It is a Joint Venture of BITROS HOLDINGS, which has a 60%  a stake in the share capital, and THYSSENKRUPP MATERIALS A.G., a member of the large and well-known German metallurgical Group, which owns the remaining 40% of the shares.

The Company specializes in the import, stockhlding and trading of specialty steels and non-ferrous metals.

The manufacturing capacity and extensive global distribution network of ThyssenKrupp will play an important role in its operations.

Its main  warehouse  is in the Group’s facilities at Aspropyrgos, while a branch with both storage and production facilities operates at Sindos.

The Company trades in all types of specialty steels (steel alloys and especially processed steels) used in the Greek market and it intends to expand its activities to include non-ferrous metals.

Its basic products are wear resistant steel, engineering  steel, tool steel and stainless steel.
